Bluehouse Café event – Froggle Parties

The Bluehouse Café is open in the concourse of the Oxted URC every Tuesday afternoon during term-time, to provide refreshments for all ages as part of the church’s outreach to the community. A children’s entertainer from Froggle Parties will be joining for this event, complete with snow machine!

Petr Horacek grew up in Prague, where he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts, before becoming a graphic designer, illustrator, and painter. Inspired by his two daughters, he has created numerous books for children, including Animal Opposites, Silly Suzy Goose and Strawberries Are Red. Petr has been nominated for the 2018 Kate Greenaway Medal for his beautiful illustration of A First Book of Animals (written by Nicola Davies).

He will be giving two presentations at St Mary’s, complete with live illustrations!
